The Entry/Exit System (EES) is already active across Europe. EES is a biometric border‑control process used when entering or exiting the Schengen Area. It replaces manual passport stamping and records your facial image, fingerprints (for visa‑exempt travelers), passport details, and entry/exit dates. EES is not something travelers apply for — it is an automated border procedure.
